Offering the ultimate in convenience, organization and performance, these bats feature an “Easy Lift Rim™” to make removing the bat from the wheel head in one fluid motion a BREEZE, leaving the ceramic piece undisturbed. Made from injection-molded plastic, these bats are built to last and their unique ribs add strength and durability. Featuring universal bat pin spacing, these great bats are designed to fit all wheels and are offered at an unbeatable value. Available in (3) sizes, 14" Round, 12" Round and the hugely popular 7.5" space-saving square, these essentials for your studio are available in (6) bold and bright colors (Green, Blue, Orange, Red, Brown, Black). The Summer of 2024 will be extra HOT, thanks to the addition of three NEW colors, Bright Pink, Purple and Teal – all thanks to feedback from artists like you!

Medex® & Masonite® Bats
Medex® Bats: Speedball’s Medex bats offer the greatest durability of all wooden bats and show very limited warping or chipping. This bat is an ideal alternative for potters who prefer to work on wooden bats, but who enjoy the longevity offered by plastic or plaster. Available in 12”, 14” and 16” sizes.
Masonite® Bats: Speedball’s Masonite bats provide the most affordable alternative to other types of bats like plaster, bisque and plastic, while still allowing artists to easily remove projects from the wheel head and after drying. Available in 12”, 14” and 15” sizes.
