Monoprinting with Speedball Gel Printing Plates and Akua Inks

Artists in attendance will receive an introduction to the art of monoprinting and be exposed to just how easily and spontaneously beautiful one-of-a-kind prints can be created.  This accessible technique also showcase the ideal pairing of Speedball’s Gel Printing Plates and Akua Inks, to form vibrant, luminous and dynamic prints in just minutes. Attendees will have the opportunity to create their own prints, experiencing first-hand how the unique working properties of these incredible inks coupled with the gel printing plates lend themselves to a wide range of printmaking and other techniques/media.  Demonstration will be conducted by Speedball Professional Artist, Amy Nack.
