Monotype With and Without a Press: A Hands on Workshop with Ron Pokrasso

Monotype is simple to do and extremely rewarding to do well and with a greater level of control. You will gain an understanding of the process that has become one of the most popular printmaking activities. Using Akua water based inks you will experiment with basic techniques including ink mixing, additive/ subtractive applications, stencils/ templates, working the “ghost” image, plate and paper registration, multiple plate printing, contact or trace monotype. This workshop is suited to all levels of experience.
