18th Annual Summer Apprenticeship Program with Roberto Lugo

For this event, students will hand-build frames for a tile wall sculpture and will paint the tiles and the frames with Speedball underglazes. We love how vivid the colors are, and because the underglaze is opaque, it is especially nice for students that are new to ceramics to work with because they can more easily anticipate what the color will look like after firing. We will also be using Speedball low-fire clear glaze to finish the sculptures.
