4-Day Integration Intensive: Exploring Paper+Print+Encaustic
June 26, 2020 @ 8:00 am - June 29, 2020 @ 5:00 pm
Join me as I open this new and special class to just two participants in my Portland studio. I will share my very latest techniques and practices in combining print with encaustic. We will push beyond the confines of traditional print and approach it as painters. You will create “full bleed” prints on Encaustiflex and Kozo Paper cut to the size of painting panels for mounting onto and further embellishing with encaustic. Graphite rubbing transfer will also be addressed.
You will learn various layering and collage techniques with both the prints and encaustic that will transform into paintings full of depth. This class will aid in expanding your vocabulary and how your approach your work.
