Combining Printmaking Methods with Guest Artist Eliana Rodriguez

This workshop takes place at Sawtooth School in Winston Salem NC. It’s a Print Extravaganza! Learn how to combine the techniques of relief printing with screen printing to achieve eye catching, multicolored prints. Students will learn how to carve and ink a block to create colorful images that will then be screen printed on.

Eliana E. Rodriguez is a Latina artist of color who creates pints, ceramics and illustrations. Rodriguez earned her BFA with a concentration in printmaking and ceramics. After graduating from college, Rodriguez began her studio practice in Asheville, NC where she continues to make art. Rodriguez is currently a Program Manager at the Roots and Wings School for Art and Design and works as a Speedball Demo Artist.
