IS Project Reduction Print Workshop with Speedball Demo Artist, Raj Bunnag

Come learn about the intricacies of relief printing with master printmaker Raj Bunnag as he covers the basics of reduction relief printing and how to take your carving to the next level!
Students will learn about print history and how to source and appropriate composition and motifs from the dead masters. Either come with an image ready or develop one from scratch. By the end of this workshop you will leave with a much better understanding of relief printmaking.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Raj Bunnag is an artist/printmaker based out of Durham, North Carolina. He is a current 2022 candidate for a masters in fine arts at UNC Chapel Hill. When he isn’t printing he is teaching some form of it to people of all walks of life. Re-educating people about the power that the printed word/image has been his life goal, as people these days have no idea what printmaking really is.
