My work falls into the sculpturally altered, wheel thrown pots category. Or as they are popularly known – face pots, mugs or jugs. I love the endless possibilities of faces and the characters they embody. I make them so that the owner can become a part of that character while drinking from my mugs. I hope to make people stop and think or smile with my pottery. I use a variety of underglazes, glazes, crystals and resins to bring my ogres to life. I work in a white mid range stoneware, and I’m constantly looking for new faces to make!
