In the northern peninsula, outside Gothenburg, Sweden
I am an artist and illustrator living on an island outside of Gothenburg, Sweden. I have a BA in Computer Science from Lund University and an MA of Arts in Design for Interactive Media at Middlesex University, London. After my MA I worked as a web developer and web designer for a few years before undertaking a PG Certificate in Animation at the London Animation Studio.
After graduating in 2003, I worked as a freelance animator for many years for companies such as Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. I lived in London for over 6 years before moving back to Sweden and continued working as an animator and Art Director. Lately, I have been moving from digital work towards the handmade and working more with illustrations and art. I discovered rubber carving in 2015 and have not stopped carving and printing since then.
Since 2015, I have been running a web shop where I am printing and selling my own art alongside my work with clients such as Sleep Cycle, Storyworld, Lake Colouring, Touchnote among others.
For me, creating art has always been a huge part of my life. I constantly look for and think about new motifs to paint or carve. I find inspiration from the area in Gothenburg where I grew up and love painting houses and city life, but I find just as much inspiration from the nature that surrounds me. It’s only within the last few years that I started to share and display my personal work, and by doing so I hope that I can inspire others.

I love the pink carving block, called Speedy-Carve that I use for almost all of my carvings. It’s such a lovely and flexible material to work with. It feels like meditation when the carving tool glides through the surface and I watch the subject take form. I also use the Speedball Baren for printing in order to get a nice, even print.
