At Speedball, we’re makers ourselves. We know how important it is for tools and studio supplies to arrive safely and on time so you can stay focused on your work. The details below outline how we ship, how returns work, and how we take care of you if something arrives in less than perfect condition

Shipping

All orders ship from our warehouse in Statesville, North Carolina.
We currently ship within the United States only.

Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days.
Processing time is in addition to the transit estimates below.

Free Shipping

Enjoy free Standard Shipping on orders of $99 or more (after discounts, before tax).
Orders under $99 ship at the rates below.

*Plus 1-2 days handling time. Please note that expedited shipping may not be available for oversized freight

Oversized & Freight Items

Certain large or heavy items (such as presses, wheels, papers, or select studio tools) may include a delivery surcharge or may not qualify for expedited service. Any applicable surcharge will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Hazardous Materials

Some items may be classified as hazardous materials and must be shipped via Ground. If an item is restricted, expedited delivery options will be unavailable at checkout.

Returns

We want you to love the materials you work with. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

Return Condition

To ensure quality and safety, returned items must be in new, unused condition, with all original packaging.

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Open ink
  • Opened mediums
  • Cut paper or pads with torn sheets
  • Clearance items
  • Any item that shows signs of use

Return Shipping

Return shipping is handled through our Returns portal.

A prepaid return label will be provided, and $9.95 will be deducted from your refund to cover return shipping.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, we’ll make it right.

Please notify us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • A photo of the item
  • A photo of the packaging (if damage appears shipping-related)

This helps us file claims with the carrier and resolve your issue quickly.

Replacement First, Refund If Preferred

Our default is to send a replacement for damaged or defective items.
If the item is out of stock or if you prefer, a refund can be issued instead.
There is never a shipping charge for replacements on damaged or defective items.

Order Errors

If we ship the wrong item or miss something in your order, contact us and we’ll correct it immediately. Any shipping costs related to our error are covered by us.

Can I cancel or change an order after it’s placed?

Once an order is placed, it can’t be canceled or changed.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, free Standard Shipping on orders over $99.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes. Expedited options are available to the Contiguous U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii.
Some oversized and hazmat items are not eligible.

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time. We ship within the United States to the contiguous U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. We do not currently ship to Puerto Rico or other U.S. territories.

Can I return something I tried out?

We can only accept returns on items that are new and unused, in original packaging.

Which items are non-returnable?

Opened items, and any item showing signs of use.

How do I return something?

Use our returns portal. A $9.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Contact us within 7 days with photos, and we’ll replace or refund the item.

What if you shipped the wrong item?

We’ll correct it immediately at no cost to you.
